A parent company for builders
TeKanAid Solutions Inc. is the parent company of TeKanAid Academy, Povdemo, and NextEMR. We are a Canadian company founded by Sam Gabrail to build practical tooling and education for the engineers who run modern platforms. Our portfolio spans live training, proof-of-value demo automation, and a modern medical records product. Each brand serves a different audience, and each one is shaped by the same operating philosophy: ship useful things, keep them small enough to maintain, and write everything down so the next person can pick it up.
This site exists to introduce the parent company, route prospects to the right brand, and offer two things you can buy directly from us: AI infrastructure consulting and audience sponsorships.
Founder
Sam Gabrail is the founder of TeKanAid Solutions Inc. He has more than eighteen years of experience in network and platform engineering, holds the HashiCorp Authorized Instructor credential, and currently spends most of his time building AI platform engineering tooling and curriculum. Sam has trained thousands of engineers across enterprise customers, public cohorts, and a long-running YouTube channel. His writing and teaching focus on the parts of platform engineering that are easy to undervalue: the boring runbooks, the wiring between tools, and the day-two work that keeps systems alive.

The portfolio
We run three brands under TeKanAid Solutions Inc.
- TeKanAid Academy is our education arm. It publishes hands-on courses, labs, and certification prep across AI platform engineering, HashiCorp, Kubernetes, and adjacent topics. Academy is where most of our public-facing teaching happens.
- Povdemo is a platform that helps technical teams stand up proof-of-value demos faster. It is aimed at sales engineers, solutions architects, and developer relations teams who need a clean way to show software working end to end.
- NextEMR is a modern electronic medical records product for clinics that have outgrown legacy EMR systems and want something faster, cleaner, and easier to integrate.
Each brand has its own site, its own roadmap, and its own customers. TeKanAid Solutions provides shared infrastructure, finance, and engineering leadership across all three.

How we build
We pick problems we have lived with ourselves. Every product in the portfolio started as something Sam or the team needed and could not buy at a reasonable price or quality. That keeps the roadmap honest. If we are not the kind of customer who would happily pay for the thing, we do not ship it.
We stay small on purpose. Small teams force clear priorities and short feedback loops. We would rather ship one well-tested feature this month than three half-finished ones. We document publicly when it is useful, share what we learn through Academy, and try to leave the platform engineering community a little better off than we found it.
